The Birman is a stunning breed of cat. With it's blue eyes and well temper, whats not to love about them?

Appearance

Birmans are medium size cats. They have a medium to long length coat. Due to the lack of a undercoat, this makes a birmans coat sliky, and dosen't mat as much a regular long-haired cat.

Distinct features of the birman include round sapphire blue eyes, white paws similar to gloves, and various color points. Their color points come in: Seal point, Chocolate point, Lilac point, Red point, and Cream point. Other colors are in development.

Personality

Birmans tend to follow you everywhere. They are very socialble, even toward guests. Birmans love attention from their human companions. Birmans will trust you 100% if you respect their trust.

Health

The birman can suffer from feline hyprophic cardiomypathy (HCM). HCM can result in heart failure, paralysis, and sudden death. However there are no genetic health concerns.
