Curious George Project
Curious George is the UBC LCI entry that placed first in the robot league of the Semantic Robot Vision Challenge for both 2007 and 2008 and first in the software league for 2009. The traveling team from 2009 along with the most recent incarnation of George are shown to the right.
This page contains a wealth of information describing the team's efforts in creating a general-purpose visual search platform capable of robustly recognizing a large number of visual object categories. In particular, please visit our publications page for technical details and our source page for complete access to the code for our platform, as we have made it entirely open-source.
