Everyone in the lab is expected to take their turn
acting as
chair of the meeting.
Among the
chair's responsibilities are:
- Find a speaker for the
technical presentation for the meeting.
(Consult the ordered
list of technical presenters to see who is next in line.)
- Add the technical presenter's name to the Imager calendar file.

- Collect and post agenda items for the
meeting.
- If the meeting is going to be held other than on Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. in
room 208, post the change to the newsgroup and update the Imager calendar file.

- Find out who is the next chair (and the following one).
- Take minutes during the meeting and post these minutes to the newsgroup
cs.imager after the meeting.
