ABSTRACT

Computer-aided assessment and evaluation can offer advantages to instructors/faculitators and students in terms of instant feedback, statistical analysis, automatic grading, randomization and much more. With the current interest in web-based educational environments, it is a natural desire to have such an evaluation tool in a web-based learning environment. Over the last year WebCT has carried out work on adding on-line assessment and evaluation to the WebCT tool. This paper describes WebCT's on-line quiz delivery, grading and report mechanism.
