The Good

 
So this weekend I went to beautiful Vancouver Island. I stayed at a nice cabin, ate some nice meals, and did some pretty cool tourist stuff. All in all, it was a great time.

So I went to my friend Carrie's housewarming party, and had absinth for the first time. I didn't think it was a big deal, but I only had a little. However, Carrie was delighted -- so this is her rave.

Last Friday, I went to The Autumn Brew Fest at the Plaza of Nations. I had an excellent time, although I spent most of my time and $$ at the Bick Rock booth. Afterwards we went to Maverick's (my first time). It was a pretty good time, but they close at 1am which is kind of a drag. I also discovered that they have Country Night. Too funny.
