Recording from the Hi-8 camera onto other formats

• The Hi-8 camera.
• The Vid/IO Box.
• An S-VHS Cable.

This is really easy:

1. Take the S-VHS cable and connect it to the Hi-8 camera output.
2. Take the other end and connect it to the VHS line 1 or 2 input (remember to choose the input accordingly.) Hi-8 --> LVR

   This is a bit more complicated:

   1. Take the S-VHS cable and connect it to the Hi-8 camera output.
   2. Connect this to the S-VHS input on the Vid/IO box.
   3. Take the RGB and Sync outputs from the Vid/IO box and connect them to the RGB and Sync inputs of the LVR on Maybelline's video patchbay.
   Hi-8 --> Beta-Cam

   This is really easy:

   1. Take the S-VHS cable and connect it to the Hi-8 camera output.
   2. Take the other end and connect it to the Beta-Cam S-VHS input (remember to choose the input accordingly.)
   and voila, you are ready to go!

   Hi-8 --> U-Matic

   This is a bit more complicated:

   1. Take the S-VHS cable and connect it to the Hi-8 camera output.
   2. Connect this to the S-VHS input on the Vid/IO box.
   3. Take the composite output from the Vid/IO box and connect that to the 3/4 in connector on Maybelline's video patchbay.
