Dr. Lee White is a Professor
of Computer Engineering and Science at Case Western Reserve University
in Cleveland, Ohio. He is presently on sabbatical leave at the University
of Victoria for the 1997-98 academic year. He received the BSEE degree
from the University of Cincinnati in 1962, and the MSc and PhD degrees
in Electrical and Computer engineering in 1964 and 1967 from the University
of Michigan.
His research area is in Software Engineering, specifically in the area of software testing and reliability. He has published more than 50 technical papers in refereed journals and conferences, and has provided consulting expertise in this area at a number of industrial firms, most recently GE and IBM. He currently serves as the American Editor of the Journal of Software Testing, Verification and Reliability. He is currently working with Dr. Daniel
Hoffman in the formalWARE project of automated component testing.
He is also cooperating with Dr. Jeffrey Joyce on some industrial testing
problems.
