Maggies's capstone project (COGS402) focused on conducting a comprehensive literature review on Emotional Intelligence (EF). They reviewed foundational works by Gottman alongside contemporary research in psychology and neuroscience. By analyzing existing knowledge on EF's characteristics, measurement methods, related factors, and interventions, the review aimed to deepen our understanding of this complex concept and its impact on individuals, couples, and families. Ultimately, the project sought to inform future research approaches for investigating EF in touch-based contexts.
