Autohome XYZ calibration

When to do

  • Whenever the Vantage is started

What to do

 
  1. Place a plastic sheet into the printer
  2. Main Menu > Operator Control > Calibrate > Auto Home XYZ
  3. Head will move around and eventually will say it completed

Auto Z stage zero calibration

When to do

  • Before auto tip-to-tip calibration
  • Automatically performed when manually placing parts
  • If you replace a material tip

What to do

  1. Place a plastic sheet into the printer
  2. Main Menu > Operator Control > Calibrate > Set Z Stage Zero > Auto Z Zero Calibrate
  3. Head will move around and eventually will say it completed

Auto tip-to-tip calibration

When to do

  • If you mechanically change anything in the print head
  • ie. change a tip
  • Or unscrew the head for service

What to do

  1. Place a plastic sheet into the printer
  2. Main Menu > Operator Control > Calibrate > AutoCal Tips
  3. Head will move around and eventually will say it completed
