Here are some helpful tips for new members to the SPL.

Add yourself to the SPL mailing list: mail majordomo@csDELETEthisTEXT.ubc.ca placing subscribe soft-practices in the body of the message

- Other useful department mailing lists: cs-eclipse, cs-cycling, realtimenews, cs-running
Add your name to the WebNotify page, so you can receive email notification when SPL wiki pages change (such as for SPLuRGe).
Update your userinfo information. Department people will use this to find out your office, etc. You can query this information with the userinfo command from any Unix box or using the userinfo web search.
