   * [[https://ccv-cvc.ca/loginresearcher-eng.frm][Common CV (CCV) portal]]. You need a CCV to apply for most NSERC grants. Create an account and start looking around. Creating a CCV takes a long time.

   * The [[http://www.nserc-crsng.gc.ca/professors-professeurs/grants-subs/dgigp-psigp_eng.asp][discovery grant notice of intent]] is due August 1st. Don't miss it.

   * Consider applying to become associated with the [[http://pwias.ubc.ca/][Peter Wall Institute]], an inter-disciplinary research institute on campus.

   * [[https://ssc.adm.ubc.ca/fsc/home][FSC portal]]. FSC stands for faculty services centre. This is where you enter student grades, get information on students in your class.

   * [[https://apps.cs.ubc.ca/gats7/][GATs 2014 system login]]. GATS stands for Graduate Applicant Tracking System. This is the link to the one for 2014 incoming students.
