Czarship Duties
Czar of Czars
- Maintain current list of Czarships and Czars
- Work with faculty to fill Czarships left vacant by leaving students
- Periodically review list of Czarships and cull those that are no longer necessary

- When demos are scheduled:
- Liaise with the organiser and confirm that rooms and times have been scheduled appropriately
- Inform sub-czars of upcoming demo slot and request list of students available to demo
- Draw up demo schedule
- If necessary, escort guest(s) between labs
- Ensure demo sessions do not run under/over-time
- Each sub-czars is responsible for soliciting demos from his/her group

Contact point for helpdesk-administered Linux workstation issues.
Participate in weekly imager-tech meeting.
Has sudo access for emergencies.
Macintosh Admin

Windows Admin
Contact point for Windows workstation issues. This includes staff-supported as well as self-administered machines.
Participates in the weekly Imager-tech meeting.
Has admin access to staff-supported Windows machines, for use in urgent cases only.
Imager Tech Meeting Coordinator
Manage and take notes for weekly meetings with the Imager Tech group concerning issues with Imager's technical resources.

SPIN Tech
Every computer in MUX lab is self administrated and Tech Czar is not obligated to manage software or hardware on those machines. Tech Czar has be informed of every hardware, software crash and problems which require either IT desk's or Czar's help. Main jobs of Tech Czar is to be aware of any problems of a SPIN member has been facing with their hardware and software and might take action and let CS IT desk or Karon know about the situation. Tech Czar might need to communicate with Karon in case or new hardware purchase as well.

- Update MUX wiki: presenter list and brief summary of what happened

- assign the next presenters 2 weeks ahead and announce them in the reminder email (the speakers are picked fifo from the wiki presenter list)
- update MUX meetings in the imager calendar using the imager.adjunct@gmailDELETEthisTEXT.com account
