C-TOCv4 for December, validation for CHIR for March?
Steve has prototype of video/animated task instructions
C-TOCv2 to address usability concerns in usability evaluation reports by CJ and MB, remains in PPT
Test Battery
all tests remaining in C-TOCv2, test content generally fine, none discarded
media content to be cleared
IP violations possible for some test paradigms
content approved by B. Purves (speech + audiology sciences), J. Barton (neuroopthamology, spatial perceptual processes, topographical orientation), P. Graf (cog. psychology), H. Feldman
C-TOC seen as hybrid between screening and full NP test battery
those w/ low computer literacy not to be addressed in first phase
presentation of instructions needs to be reviewed, alternatives provided (replay-able video, animations, audio, multimodal options, incremental reveal of text / gradual display of text)
How to address timing issue? Who wants to be timed, who does not?
To do:
side projects to validate new test paradigms (neuropsychological studies, involvement of psyc. undergrads) - validation by hand scoring in PPT
calibration studies (also involved psyc. undergrads) for pattern construction et al., address baseline configurations of shapes/lines/words in some tests (PC, SqP, SP) - all generative tasks
validation on language tasks with aphasic patients and controls, again with hand scoring
validation/calibration studies will push current prototype to its limits, before any hi-fi dev work, but still focusing on usability
