Developed by UBC researchers in close collaboration with Special Olympics BC (SOBC), KidsAction has been used in physical activity programs run by SOBC and the Sun Peaks Adapted Ski Program, and will be adopted (and adapted) by additional community-based organizations in the near future.

In this project we worked on designing and developing HaptiColour, a haptic-assisted colouring platform based on the Haply 2-DOF device and a graphical environment that aims to help individuals decrease anxiety and achieve mindfulness.

Wildfires are a pressing natural disaster impacting the entire world. People can benefit from a comprehensive visualization not only representing the wildfires but also their effects on air quality and connection with changing climate patterns.

Have you ever thought about an app that will give you a personalized wine suggestion based upon your preferences? Even better, it will tailor the suggestions according to the meal you are about to eat?

As a student, I use several mediums for taking and organizing notes. The reason being, any particular medium is not sufficient enough as it always lack one or the other functionality.

Several local retailers at Indian grocery shops handle major crowd at peak hours. They did not do automated billing or inventory management because of complexities and cost associated with these systems.
