Summary: You should install the Tableau 10.0 software on your own machine, before the first lecture.

Details:

• Request an individual student license for Tableau for yourself. You should get a Form Received email almost immediately.
• Download Tableau.
• Install software on your laptop (Mac or Windows).
• Begin using Tableau immediately, in 14-day free trial mode.
• After you get email from Tableau with your license key, follow the instructions for updating the software to use it (via the Help menu item Manage Product Keys). You are likely to get this email within a day or so.
• For calibration of workload, note that we expect that this assignment should only take a few minutes.
