Last year I took a class about evolutionary psychology. Then I read a couple of books about it. Now I’m going to pretend to be an expert and discuss some fun topics such as incest, mating, diet and religion. I’ll propose that all of our psychology can be explained by our evolutionary environment. Then you will be skeptical and say I don’t have evidence. Then I will say you’re kind of right and kind of wrong. At some point you will laugh when I talk about strippers making more money when they are ovulating. There will also be a moment where I’ll talk about poop. You will likely cringe. But it will just be for illustrative purposes; poop won’t be an actual topic heading. The last slide will suggest we should discuss over beer.
