Abstract
People have been asking "what is music?" for millennia but the answer has remained elusive. Well, until 2011 when a great man named Viznut discovered that all good music is representable by one-line C functions, often containing a high density of bitwise operators---now called "bytebeats". In this talk I will explore the history, future and philosophical implications of bytebeats, and most importantly how you can become a master composer yourself.
