Abstract
The Italian Renaissance was a new beginning of sorts for Italian culture and art, a change towards the future while retaining Roman roots. There was a new emphasis on artistic creation by having a single architect who specialized in art, such as Michelanglo, Pelanti, and Bramante. In Northern Europe, the growing influence of new Italian ideas was met with some resistance, but still snuck it's way into many buildings still standing.
