The production of dairy is a complex social, economic and biological worldwide agribusiness.In this talk I provide a summary of thefarming side of cow milk production, from calf birth until milkleaves the farm.As Computer Scientists tend to dwell aboutbecoming farmers, this talk is also intended to dissuade you fromthat, or at least provide details on the daily tasks involved inproducing dairy.
