One day they be like “brb” and disappear from the face of earth, leaving you with 14 hand-written, CRLS-length manuscripts in a language you cannot decipher. You’re bewildered. And a little humiliated, perhaps, that this tortured genius wrote in a few months more than you could ever write in 5 years of grad school (*cries in unfinished draft*).
