Abstract
Who has given the most undistinguished lectures so far? Which year holds the record for the most talks? Can we beat this record? Can we use tennis history to predict the future of UDLS? And most importantly, do UDLS talks cause unemployment in the United States?! These useless questions have probably never occurred to you, me neither. But I had the data. And some free time. Fine it wasn't free time, I just didn't want to work, okay? jeez. Join me on this journey through more than four hundred and fifty talks delivered over a period of seventeen years and see what we can learn from the history of this most undistinguished tradition.
