Hey everyone! This week at UDLS, I’ll be sharing how Puneet Mehrotra and I started and maintained a kitchen garden in Thunderbird last year. I'll walk you through our journey, from the first sprouts to harvest, with plenty of pictures along the way! By the end of the talk, I bet you’ll be inspired to start your own garden—no excuses! Fun fact: Salad mixes are one of the easiest things to grow in Vancouver’s weather. Plus, you can double your potato harvest just by recycling sprouting potatoes! I’ll cover the steps we took, the mistakes we made, and how we kept everything grad-student-budget-friendly.
