it’s been seven weeks since Trump’s inauguration. What a time to be alive! I will not make any controversy by saying that Trump sucks. Most of the audience probably knows more examples of that than I do. However, I want to highlight one aspect of his politics in particular. Trump, unfortunately, happened to have an important voice in the question of the Russian war against Ukraine, my home country. In this talk, I want to discuss why Trump is very far from the Nobel Peace Prize with his current international politics. You’ll find out more about the change in US rhetoric towards Ukraine and some curious moments in the history of the US-Ukraine relationship. All that will be sprinkled with my personal anecdotes about getting a Computer Science degree in a country at war.
