This document serves as a brief introduction to installing Hipikat and Bugzilla from the Eclipse Update Manager.
Installing Hipikat and Bugzilla
To install the Bugzilla and Hipikat plug-ins:
- Use the Update Manager (Help->Software Updates->Update Manager).
- In the Feature Updates window, use the "New" option on the right mouse button context menu to create a new "Site Bookmark".
- Name the bookmark something (like Hipikat) and use the following URL: http://www.cs.ubc.ca/labs/spl/projects/hipikat/updates
- Note: The bookmark type should be "Eclipse update site".
- Install both the Bugzilla client and the Hipikat client.
That's it! Both Bugzilla and Hipikat should now be functional.
