---+ Introduction We've analized several ubicomp middleware systems to provide a taxonomy of common abstractions as the basis for a common ubicomp environment model. The UIF is a system used to evaluate and exersize these abstractions by mapping them to several exisitng ubicomp middleware systems. The UIF provides a consistent model for ubicomp environments accessible using web services and leverages semantic web technologies to describe the structure of the framework in terms of entities (people, places and things) associated services, context and events. NOTE: The Ubicomp Facade has been renamed to the Ubicomp Integration Framework (UIF). [[UIF Blog]] Related Publications [[Milestones]] [[Schedule]] Related Links -- Main.MikeBlackstock - 3 Jan 2006
