These represent selected haptics readings which seem especially suitable as introductory background, course project references, etc. They are not always the most current pubs on a topic, but also include some classics. The organization is very rough; many papers cross the tentative boundaries listed here. Trying to keep things simple, I've left it at a rough sort rather than tryng a tagging system. In particular, note that the line between "methods and systems" and "applications" is extremely blurry.

ACM Digital Library Major professional organization which sponsors many key HCI conferences and journals. One of the oldest and most comprehensive digital archives in the business; however, there isn't tons of haptics stuff in there yet. Look especially at CHI, UIST, PUI/ICMI.
