Personal
(While my beloved husband usually has a beard, you can see what he looks like without one in the picture tacked up to my cube wall in the above photo.)
Last term, I spent way too much time on my
U.S. Census Bureau / Google Maps mashup
. This term, I am working for Gail Murphy on task-directed collaboration tools.

rusty, creaky Web site

UBC Goals
I want to
- learn the canon of CS classes:
operating systems, compilers, HCI (344), DBs (504), AI (502), graphics, and programming-language-of-the-week (511). Design of Experiments (MATL 484(?)) and more stats would be nice, too. Heck, fluid dynamics would be nice, too.
- gain domain knowledge in a commercially useful area
- get certification
- shake the rust off of my programming skills

See
FormattedSearch and
TWikiVariables#VarSEARCH for more information on how to make autoindices.
