Facebook Hackathon at UBC

Details: At Facebook, a new idea can lead to a huge impact. Every two months, we hold Facebook Hackathons, where engineers spend the night coding and hacking away at new product ideas. A lot of great products, like Facebook Video, were created during Hackathons.

This year, we're bringing the Facebook Hackathon to UBC! The rules for Hackathon are simple - build anything creative in teams of up to 4 people. You bring an idea, a laptop and some teammates, and we’ll provide some of the best Facebook engineers to help you along the way, lots of food and red bull, and give away prizes throughout the night. The team with the coolest hack wins an all expense paid trip to the Facebook headquarter in California to compete against winning teams from other top engineering universities!
