Ontario Government Client is actively seeking a Scrum Master. As a Scrum Master where you have experience in Agile methodologies and Azure DevOps will drive the success of multiple Scrum teams. With 3-5 years of experience managing parallel teams, coupled with a keen understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing project efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction.

Note: The candidate is present on-site for three days each week.

Must Haves:

  • 3-5 years of Scrum Master experience

  • Azure DevOps proficiency

  • Experience managing multiple Scrum teams concurrently

  • Familiarity with Agile Information and Information Technology (I&IT) methods and techniques related to enterprise architecture frameworks

Nice-To-Haves:

  • Project Methodology certifications (e.g., Agile Coach, Scrum Master, Lean Six Sigma Black/Green/Yellow Belt)

  • Previous experience in the public sector

Criteria:

  • Technical Skills

    • Azure DevOps (mandatory)

    • Experience in managing multiple Scrum teams concurrently

    • Familiarity with Agile I&IT methods and techniques related to enterprise architecture frameworks

    • Effective communication, facilitation, negotiation, consensus building, and problem-solving skills

    • Proven ability in stakeholder management

    • Knowledgeable in Agile methodology with a capability to educate others

    • Proficiency in facilitating relationships between Agile teams and product owners, ensuring a conducive working environment

    • Leadership in Agile methodology and development teams' self-organization

    • Mentorship and coaching in removing impediments for teams

    • Proficient in capturing feedback and documenting sprint reviews for project enhancement and team performance improvement

  • Communication Skills

    • Excellent verbal and written communication for documentation, reports, status updates, etc.

    • Ability to present ideas clearly and effectively in a user-friendly manner

    • High level of customer service to internal and external clients

    • Capability to communicate technical concepts understandably
