Systems Testing/QA Specialist (Junior)
Ontario Government Client is actively seeking a Systems Testing/QA Specialist. As a Systems Testing/QA Specialist where you have experience in data capture and creating test cases based on user requirements, as well as familiarity with commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software and graphical user interfaces. The candidate will be proficient in following and executing test plans, test scripts, and test cases across various system components. Additionally, they will be well-versed in Quality Assurance methodologies and best practices. Preferred qualifications include experience with imaging and data capture solutions, DevOps tools, and a background in the public sector.
Note: The candidate is present on-site for three days each week.
Must Haves:
5+ years of experience as a QA tester
Demonstrated experience in conducting data mapping exercises and validation testing
Proven experience in data capture and creating test cases based on user requirements
Experience with Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software
Familiarity with graphical user interfaces
Ability to follow and execute test plans, scripts, and cases against various components
Knowledge of Quality Assurance methodologies and best practices
Nice to Have:
Experience with imaging and data capture solutions
Familiarity with DevOps tools
Experience within the Public Sector
Criteria
Quality Assurance Skills and Experience:
Develop and execute detailed test plans, test scripts, and test cases
Conduct data mapping and validation testing
Perform thorough data capture testing based on user requirements
