2021 Best Dissertation Award

UBC Computer Science research associate Arpan Gujarati was announced as the official recipient of the 2021 Paul Caspi Dissertation Award, given by the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM) Special Interest Group on Embedded Systems (SIGBED). 

Arpan's host institute and full affiliation during his PhD was the Max Planck Institute for Software Systems (MPI-SWS) and Technische Universität Kaiserslautern, Germany. His dissertation was titled 'Towards “Ultra-Reliable” CPS: Reliability Analysis of Distributed Real-Time Systems'.
