Supporting Research

Laura Selander won the award as an admin staff member and is the definition of a person who works efficiently and effectively behind the scenes. She has been a tireless supporter of the recruiting process especially, which is stressful work for a long period of time. She was able to fill all schedules. Laura has also worked very hard on CCVs which helps faculty immensely in submitting their NSERC grants.

Michael Sanderson won the award as a tech staff member. He truly cares about the duties he has in the department - he thinks things through, communicates with researchers, and thinks deeply about the needs of the department and all the possible potential impacts any decision may have.
