Facebook Tech Talk and Info Session

Facebook is coming to town.  Join us for a tech talk with UBC alum, Andrew Rothbart!

Facebook moves fast.  We have over 750 million active users, ship new code every day, and have no formal test team.  How do we manage to keep the site (mostly) working while having such little process?  Come find out by listening to a talk that touches on Facebook culture and our approach to balancing quality and innovation.  Andrew graduated in 2007 from UBC with a BSc in Computer Science.  He spent 3.5 years in Microsoft Live Labs working on data visualization and has been at Facebook for 1 year optimizing Platform Infrastructure (including the like button and custom open graph).

Please RSVP to this event so we'll have an idea of how much yummy food and drinks to order.
