About Us:

We are a leading innovator in agricultural technology, dedicated to enhancing seed health and viability through our proprietary AI-driven seed sorting system. We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist with significant experience in software development, ideally with a full stack background, to join our team.

Role Overview:

The primary focus of this role will be to analyze data from our seed sorting system, set up efficient data analysis pipelines in the cloud, and integrate machine learning algorithms to cloud-based servers. The successful candidate will ensure real-time performance of our models for
immediate seed sorting and contribute to the development of cutting-edge algorithms.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain data analysis pipelines in the cloud
• Integrate machine learning algorithms with cloud-based servers
• Ensure real-time inference and high-speed processing of seed sorting data
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of AI algorithms for seed health and viability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data science initiatives with business objectives

Technical Skills:

Required:

• Cloud Computing:
  • Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
  • Experience setting up and managing data pipelines in the cloud
• Machine Learning:
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms and frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
  • Experience with model deployment and real-time inference
• Software Development:
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
  • Full stack development experience
• Data Engineering:
  • Expertise in database management and data warehousing solutions (SQL, NoSQL, Redshift, BigQuery)
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
• DevOps:
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of version control systems (Git)

Desirable:

• Big Data Technologies:
  • Familiarity with Hadoop, Spark, or other big data processing frameworks
• AI and Deep Learning:
  • Experience with LLMs, neural networks, and computer vision
• Statistical Analysis:
  • Strong background in statistical methods and experimental design
• AgriTech Experience:
  • Previous experience in agricultural technology or a related field
• Project Management:
  • Experience leading data science projects from conception to deployment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in data science and software development
• Proven track record of developing and deploying machine learning models in a production environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
