Albert Jiang Received Two Doctoral Dissertation Awards
PhD student Albert Jiang is the recipient of two Doctoral Dissertation Awards:
- International Foundation for Autonomous Agents and Multiagent Systems 2011 Victor Lesser Distinguished Dissertation Award. This award honors the best thesis in the area of Autonomous Agents and Multiagent Systems, internationally. This year 8 students were nominated from around the world; Albert was runner up.
- CAIAC Doctoral Dissertation Award (2011 best thesis in Artificial Intelligence at a Canadian University). The award, presented in May 2012, was for theses completed in 2011.
Albert's thesis is titled: "Representing and Reasoning with Large Games", and he was supervised by Kevin Leyton-Brown.
