Two CS staff receive UBC Science Excellence in Service Awards
When you stand out amongst your peers, not only should you be recognized, but you should be rewarded too. The UBC Science 'Excellence in Service Award' does just that.
At an in-person ceremony on Wednesday, March 2, Constance Wun, Co-op Coordinator and Joël Pittet, Web Applications Team Lead, both of UBC Computer Science, received the well-deserved award along with four other UBC Science staff.
An award to recognize excellence
The awards were created to recognize staff, students and faculty whose service contributions have had a significant positive impact in achieving UBC Science's mission. A maximum of six staff (including one PDF or RA) and two faculty receive awards of $2,000 each and two students receive $1,000.
