CS Professor Mark Schmidt Named 2025 Dorothy Killam Fellow
Congratulations to CS Professor Mark Schmidt on being named a Dorothy Killam Fellow for the significant impact that he has made in the fields of numerical optimization and machine learning.
The Dorothy Killam Fellowships support scholars of exceptional quality by granting them time to pursue their research projects that have broad significance in the areas of the humanities, natural sciences, health sciences, engineering, or research linking any of these disciplines. A Dorothy Killam Fellow is a "leading researcher whose ground-breaking, best-in-class research stands to have significant impact on a national or global scale."
