CAIMS Research Prize

The CAIMS/SCMAI Research Prize is the Canadian Applied and Industrial Mathematics Society’s pre-eminent research award. It recognizes innovative and exceptional research contributions in applied or industrial mathematics. The citation for the prize reads: “The CAIMS*SCMAI Research Prize is presented to Prof. Chen Greif in recognition of his outstanding contributions to numerical linear algebra and its applications. His ground-breaking research and leadership have had a profound impact on scientific  computing and will continue to influence and inspire applied mathematicians for years to come."
